The Internet of Care
The Internet of Care by Checkin provides a simple and non-intrusive method for monitoring positive social interactions throughout the facility.
Built in Nova Scotia, Ridgewood was the pilot site for the development of the world’s first Internet of Care (IoC). The IoC is a powerful software solution designed to create meaningful community to enhance care and safety as we age.
At the core of the software are proprietary patent pending algorithms with the ability to measure all interactions within a care community to determine the meaningfulness of these engagements. This allows the people in the community (residents, their loved one’s and the care team) to set goals, measure, evaluate and drive outcomes. Liveables are worn by both residents and staff, making no demands on the wearer.
